MCEA-MCPS Labor Management Collaboration Committees
MCPS and MCEA are committed to creating organizational structures and processes that solidify the collaborative relationship between the two organizations, so that all parties work together to do what is best for students. Collaboration is a process in which both MCEA and MCPS work together in a meaningful way and within a time frame that provides a real opportunity to shape results. In this process, both organizations work together respectfully to to resolve problems, address common issues, and identify opportunities for improvement. Labor Management Collaboration Committees exist as structures in support of this process. They include the Music Collaboration Committee and Special Education Labor Management Committee.
