Tradewinds and Housing Classifieds
Tradewinds is MCEA's classified ad service. Listings are free to MCEA members. Tradewinds is distributed every two weeks as part of the MCEA News .
Affordable housing is a major challenge for Montgomery County educators – especially new teachers. MCEA regularly runs ads for places to rent, share or own in our publication Tradewinds: The MCEA Classified Ad Service. MCEA members with housing opportunities they wish to advertise can submit them to tradewinds@mcea.nea.org.

Submission Policies
Ads may only be submitted by MCEA MEMBERS and must be noncommercial in nature. Ads may be faxed (301-309-9563) or emailed to tradewinds@mcea.nea.org and must contain the member's name, home phone number, and school/worksite. Below is a list of the classified catagorie, please identify your category in the subject line of your message:
- For Sale
- Free Items/Give-Aways
- Services Offered
- Vacation Rentals
- Housing for Rent
- Housing to Share
MCEA reserves the right to reject, edit and/or delay any ad submitted due to space limitations. The monthly deadline is the first of the month prior to publication and must be resubmitted each month.
