Advocate to Adopt a Calendar that Supports Student Learning

Last week the Board of Education members echoed MCEA membership concerns of honoring our diverse community, the importance of a Spring Break to provide family time for both students and staff, and the need for more student instructional prep time in the calendar.  The Board of Education will hear public comments at their next meeting at 6 p.m. on October 23^rd.  Join with other concerned members to encourage the Board in adopting a calendar that works for student learning.
