Delegate since 2019 and deputy majority whip. Crutchfield has served District 19 since 2019 and became deputy majority whip in 2024.
- Judiciary Committee member and subcommittee chair. She serves on the Judiciary Committee and chairs the Family & Juvenile Law Subcommittee.
- Active in caucuses and justice initiatives. Crutchfield is a member of the Legislative Black Caucus (former secretary), Veterans Caucus, Women Legislators, Transit Caucus and Latino Caucus.
- Served on juvenile justice reform bodies. She sat on the Juvenile Justice Reform Council and the Justice Reinvestment Oversight Board.
- Co‑sponsor of HB0837 promoting vocational awareness. Crutchfield helped pass the More Opportunities for Career‑Focused Students Act.
- Advocate for juvenile justice reform and educational equity. She focuses on restorative justice, anti‑discrimination policies and equal educational opportunities.
